Travis Kelce admits it was “hysterical” to see his family members chest-bumping pop superstar Taylor Swift during the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Rumours the pair were dating went into overdrive when Swift attended the Chiefs’ 41-10 win at Arrowhead Stadium, sitting in a private box alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna.
Speaking on his ‘New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce’ podcast, which aired Stateside on Wednesday morning, the Chiefs tight end admitted he was delighted with how well the afternoon had gone.
He said: “I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her.
“She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in a great light. And on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans.
“To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high-fives with Mom, to see how Chiefs Kingdom was all excited that she was there. That was absolutely hysterical.
“It’s definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”
Swift is notoriously coy when it comes to her private life and while Kelce hoped to keep it that way, he conceded things had changed since suggestions they were an item first surfaced.
“I know I brought all this attention to me,” he added. “What’s real is that it is my personal life. I want to respect both of our lives.
“[But] I’m on the rollercoaster of life. I’m noticing a few things. Paparazzi outside my house. For sure, 100 per cent they all have British accents too, or something European.
“I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend.”
