Bucks beat Bulls as Antetokounmpo and Portis run the show
Milwaukee Bucks coach hails “phenomenal” Giannis Antetokounmpos as he and Bobby Portis combine to secure a win for Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.
Antetokounmpo scored 35 points for the second-straight game with 11 rebounds, while Portis scored a double-double in a match that saw the return of Damian Lillard and a tough second straight match for the Chicago Bulls.
Speaking after the win, Bucks coach Adrian Griffin praised the performance of his power forward.
He said: “He was phenomenal the whole game.
“We needed him down the stretch, and he kind of took things into his own hands.”

Monday night’s victory also marked the return of Damian Lillard to the Bucks side after missing two games with a calf injury.
The Bucks lost both games without the presence of the seven-time all-NBA guard.
Speaking after the match, Lillard spoke of his return.
“I felt pretty good,” Lillard said.
“If I didn’t feel good enough to play, I wouldn’t have played.
“But I think any time you miss time, especially when you’re already kind of behind, to begin with, it’s going to have some sort of effect.
“But given the circumstances, I felt pretty good.”
