Jackson, McCaffrey and Hill headline 2023 NFL All-Pro team

Christian McCaffrey, Fred Warner and Tyreek Hill have been named as unanimous picks for the 2023 NFL All-Pro team, while Lamar Jackson received his second selection at quarterback.

San Francisco 49ers pair McCaffrey and Warner, as well as Miami Dolphins wide receiver Hill, were the three players to receive first-team votes from all 50 members of the panel which selects the Associated Press’ All-Pro team.

Five Niners made the first team after they clinched the NFC’s first seed with a 12-5 record, with fullback Kyle Juszczyk, tight end George Kittle and left tackle Trent Williams also included.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, meanwhile, was selected with 45 first-place picks, with the Dallas Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and San Francisco’s Brock Purdy each receiving two selections.

Jackson is viewed as the frontrunner for the NFL’s MVP award after leading the Ravens to a league-best 13-4 season, having also landed the league’s top individual honour in 2019.

There was also a notable pick for the Los Angeles Rams’ Aaron Donald, whose eighth All-Pro selection puts him joint-fifth among all players in the league’s history, behind Jerry Rice, Jim Otto (both 10), Ron Mix and Anthony Munoz (nine apiece).

There were 14 first-time All-Pros selected overall, including the Cowboys’ star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who led the league for total receptions (135) and was second only to Hill (1,799 to 1,749) for receiving yards across the regular season.
