Kansas City Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt is confident head coach Andy Reid will be with the franchise next season.
Reid, 65, has led the Chiefs to four Super Bowls in five years – and his team will face the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday’s 2024 showpiece.

Hunt says he has received no indication Reid is set to retire and the man himself also stated “today is not the day” when asked about the possibility of standing down.
Hunt said: “I don’t have a sense for what he’s thinking.
“I do know he’s really engaged and enjoying it and I have no sense that he’s going to be ready to retire in the near future. But in terms of how long it goes, I don’t know.
“Certainly I hope it’s a long time in the future, but we’ll just have to see as we go.’’
Hunt certainly isn’t putting plans in place to find a successor, adding: “It’s too early to start worrying about that at this point. It would definitely be premature.’’

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has previously said he doesn’t see Reid walking away anytime soon.
He told ESPN: “He loves football so much.
“Even in the off-season, he’ll text me, ask me questions, do I like this play or do I like that play? He loves being around the game and being able to enjoy it.
“We’re having so much fun. It’s not so much the winning. We legit have so much fun at the building that I think it would be hard for him to walk away.”
