Mike Tyson has started his build up for his forthcoming showdown with Jake Paul – and looked in great shape on the pads.
The 57-year-old will take on YouTuber-turned boxer Paul on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Paul is just 27 – Tyson will be 58 come fight night – with many expressing their concern at such a difference in age.
However, former heavyweight champion of the world Tyson has already got to work to prove the doubters wrong.
And the early signs certainly look promising.

Tyson was one of the biggest names in world sport in the 1980s, earning a fearsome reputation for brutal knockouts on his way to holding the undisputed world title between 1987 and 1990.
Paul’s road from YouTuber to boxer started in 2020 when he fought on the undercard of Tyson’s exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jnr.
Speaking when the fight was announced, Tyson said: “[Paul has] grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.
“It’s a full-circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch, as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones, and now I plan to finish him.”
