The Houston Texans are closing in on a deal to sign the Buffalo Bills’ star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, according to an ESPN report.
The Bills are willing to trade the four-time Pro Bowl participant in exchange for second-round and fifth-round draft picks in 2025 and a 2024 sixth-round pick.

The Texans have been aggressive in their dealings this off-season as they attempt to build a team that can contend in 2024.
Diggs will become their third big-name acquisition in recent weeks, joining running back Joe Mixon and Danielle Hunter.
Mixon moved from the Cincinnati Bengals on a three-year deal with pass-rusher Hunter joining from the Minnesota Vikings for two years.
Mixon and Diggs will work alongside quarterback CJ Stroud, last season’s Offensive Rookie of the Year, in what is sure to be a potent offense.

Texans chairman Cal McNair said last week he would embrace the increased expectations their off-season moves would create.
He said: “It’s fun to have those [high] expectations.
“We embrace them. Basically, we’re starting a new season, putting a new team together with [coach] DeMeco [Ryans], and they’re starting from scratch. So it’s exciting, but we got a lot of work to do.”
